Terms of Service
The legal agreement that governs your use of Rydiqo® as a buyer, seller, or guest. Read these carefully — using the platform means accepting them.
- Acceptance is binding. Using Rydiqo® means you agree to these Terms and all linked policies.
- Must be 18+ to sell. Buyers under 18 need parental consent.
- Commission: 12%–8% depending on price tier. See Success Fees for current promotional rates.
- Disputes: Rydiqo®'s final decision is binding. Report within 48 hours of delivery.
- Governing law: England & Wales.
By accessing or using Rydiqo®, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all policies referenced on our site (including Buyer Protection, Seller Agreement, Shipping, Refund/Return, Dispute Resolution, Privacy, and Cookies). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1Overview
Rydiqo® is an online marketplace where individuals and businesses can buy and sell electric bikes, scooters, trikes, and accessories. Rydiqo® also sells products directly.
When a product is marked "Sold by Rydiqo®", Rydiqo® is the seller. Otherwise, the seller is a third party and Rydiqo® acts as a facilitator.
Rydiqo® is operated by RYDIQO LTD (Company No. 16588051), 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, Fitzrovia, London, England, W1T 6EB.
2Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register as a seller.
- Buyers under 18 may use the platform only with parental consent.
- Rydiqo® is not responsible for unauthorised use of accounts.
We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend accounts, or remove listings without notice for any reason, including suspected fraud, violation of these Terms, or reputational risk to the platform.
3Account registration
- Sellers must register an account and provide accurate, current information.
- Buyers may check out as guests or create an account.
- Users may not operate more than one account without express written permission.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
4Marketplace role
Unless otherwise stated (i.e., "Sold by Rydiqo®"), Rydiqo® does not own, inspect, store, or ship items listed by third-party sellers. Rydiqo® does not guarantee the truthfulness of any listings.
Sellers are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of their listings
- Ensuring items are legal and not stolen
- Fulfilling delivery obligations
- Honouring buyer protection rights
Rydiqo® may remove listings at its sole discretion, including for suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or non-compliance with these Terms.
5Prohibited items and conduct
Sellers may only list:
- Electric bikes, scooters, trikes, mopeds, and dirt bikes
- Related parts — wheels, batteries, chargers, helmets, conversion kits, accessories
You may not:
- List stolen or counterfeit goods
- Mislead buyers about condition
- Circumvent platform fees or policies
- Contact users outside Rydiqo® — all communication must remain on-platform
- Impersonate another user or entity
- Harass, threaten, or defraud users
- Post unlawful, obscene, or defamatory content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the platform

6Fees & payouts
6.1 Commission fees (standard tiers):
- £0–£499: 12%
- £500–£1,499: 10%
- £1,500–£2,999: 9%
- £3,000+: 8%
Boosted Listings (optional) incur additional fees. See Success Fees for full detail and current promotional rates.
6.2 Payout timelines:
- Private sellers (under 5 active listings): payouts released within 24 hours of confirmed delivery.
- Business sellers: payouts released within 72 hours of order completion.
Rydiqo® reserves the right to determine seller status and may delay payouts in cases of dispute, fraud review, or buyer complaint. See Payouts for full detail.
7Payments & chargebacks
Payments are processed via Shopify Payments, Stripe, and Klarna. Buyers may choose to pay in full or in instalments where available.
Chargebacks are strictly prohibited unless legally justified. If a buyer files a chargeback:
- Rydiqo® will submit all evidence to the payment processor.
- If the claim is rejected and Rydiqo® incurs a loss, the buyer agrees to repay the full amount immediately.
- Rydiqo® reserves the right to engage debt collection agencies to recover lost funds and pass on legal and administrative costs.
Buyers who initiate fraudulent chargebacks may have accounts banned and be subject to civil action.
7ALimited Payment Collection Agent
- Appointment. Sellers appoint RYDIQO LTD as their limited payment collection agent solely to accept and process funds from buyers for purchases made on Rydiqo®.
- Effect of buyer payment. Payment made by a buyer to Rydiqo® (or to a payment service provider used by Rydiqo®) is deemed payment made directly to the seller and fully discharges the buyer's payment obligation for the applicable order.
- Remittance and deductions. Rydiqo® may deduct commissions, fees, refunds, chargebacks, adjustments, applicable taxes/withholdings, and any other sums due to Rydiqo® before remitting the balance to the seller's nominated payout method.
- Refunds & chargebacks. Sellers authorise Rydiqo® to issue refunds on their behalf where required under these Terms, our policies, card-scheme or payment-network rules, applicable law, or final dispute outcomes, and to debit/withhold such amounts from current or future payouts.
- No trust or fiduciary relationship. Rydiqo®'s role does not create a trust, escrow, custodial, or fiduciary relationship. No interest accrues on amounts held prior to payout.
- KYC/AML & compliance. Rydiqo® and its payment partners may require identity, KYC/AML, or tax information. Payouts may be delayed, suspended, or refused where verification is pending, fraud or policy breach is suspected, or as required by law or payment-network rules.
- Failed payouts. If a payout fails or is returned, Rydiqo® may attempt repayment to the same or another verified payout method. Sellers are responsible for accurate bank details and any related fees.
- Scope. This agency is limited to transactions concluded on Rydiqo®. Rydiqo® does not guarantee buyer payment and is not liable for bank or buyer failure or events beyond its reasonable control.
- Survival. This agency appointment survives account suspension or closure to permit handling of refunds, chargebacks, reversals, and final settlement for prior transactions.
8Delivery policy
Sellers are responsible for delivery unless stated otherwise. All deliveries must:
- Include valid tracking, or
- Be confirmed by the buyer via in-platform confirmation
Examples of valid confirmation include a tracking link, buyer delivery confirmation, signed receipt, or delivery photo. Sellers failing to provide tracking or confirmation may have payouts delayed or reversed.

9Disputes & Buyer Protection
Buyers may raise disputes within 48 hours of confirmed delivery for:
- Items not received
- Items significantly not as described
- Items arriving damaged (excluding pre-disclosed faults)
Rydiqo® will review evidence from both buyer and seller. Rydiqo®'s resolution is final. This includes the right to refund the buyer, hold payouts, or remove users from the platform.
Sellers agree that Rydiqo®'s decision is binding, and waive claims against Rydiqo® for dispute outcomes. See Dispute Resolution Policy.
10Returns & refunds
Returns are not guaranteed unless agreed to by the seller or required under law. However:
- Rydiqo®-sold items follow the return policy stated at checkout
- Marketplace sellers may define their own return policies, provided they comply with consumer law
If a return is granted, the buyer must return the item in the agreed condition and timeframe. Failure to do so may void the refund. See the full Refund & Return Policy.
11Content ownership & listings
Sellers retain full ownership of any images, text, or video content they upload.
However, by posting content on Rydiqo®, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your listings on and off the platform (e.g., in ads, emails, or SEO).
12Platform availability & limitation of liability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for:
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Missed sales opportunities
- Platform errors, outages, or bugs
- User mistakes (e.g., wrong address entry)
- Behaviour of other users
Our liability is limited to the amount paid to us in fees in the past 30 days before any claim.
13Account suspension & termination
Rydiqo® may suspend, hold payouts, or permanently ban users without prior notice for:
- Violations of these Terms
- Suspected fraud or illegal activity
- Refusal to cooperate with a dispute
- Attempts to bypass platform policies
Sellers agree that Rydiqo® may withhold funds or release refunds in cases of dispute, policy breach, or abuse.
14Debt recovery & enforcement
If a user (buyer or seller) owes Rydiqo® money — including chargeback losses, unpaid fees, or settlement adjustments — they agree to:
- Pay the outstanding amount within 7 days of notice
- Be responsible for all third-party recovery costs, including debt collection agency fees, legal costs, and interest
Failure to pay may result in credit reporting and legal enforcement.
15Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the site and take effect immediately unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
16Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of Rydiqo® shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
