How Rydiqo® supports and protects sellers on rydiqo.com against fraudulent or abusive buyer activity. Works alongside our Terms of Service, Buyer Protection Policy, and Seller Agreement.

1 What Seller Protection covers
  • False "not as described" claims: Covered if you provided an accurate listing, clear images, and proof the item was as described.
  • Undelivered claims: Covered if valid tracking shows delivery to the buyer's address.
  • Chargeback fraud: Covered if you have proof of delivery, proof of item condition, and followed platform processes.
  • Payment disputes: Covered where the buyer's claim is found to be invalid after our investigation.
2 Eligibility requirements
  • Use Rydiqo® Checkout for all transactions — off-platform payments are not protected.
  • Ship within the stated dispatch time using a tracked, reputable courier.
  • Upload valid tracking details to the order page before the estimated delivery date.
  • Accurately describe items, including condition, faults, and specifications.
  • Keep proof of item condition prior to dispatch (timestamped photos or video recommended).
Tip for maximum protection: Always ship with tracking and keep timestamped pre-shipment photos. This gives us the strongest case if a dispute arises.
3 How we protect you in disputes
  • Evidence handling: We review both sides' evidence before making a decision.
  • Chargeback representation: We respond to payment processors with delivery proof, communication logs, and listing screenshots.
  • Fraud monitoring: We track buyer behaviour and may block accounts suspected of abuse.
  • Case closure: If the buyer fails to provide valid evidence, the dispute is closed in your favour.
4 What's not covered
  • Transactions made outside Rydiqo® Checkout.
  • Items shipped without tracking or with unverifiable delivery proof.
  • Listings with misleading descriptions or omitted faults.
  • Claims where the seller fails to respond to Rydiqo® within dispute deadlines.
  • Items sold via Collection where the seller cannot provide a signed handover receipt.
5 Fraud & abuse prevention

We actively monitor for repeat claim patterns, stolen payment methods, and "item not received" scams. Sellers flagged as high risk may be subject to payout holds until we verify legitimacy — this protects the platform and all other sellers.

Coordinated abuse or evidence of fraud will be referred to relevant authorities and may trigger account suspension.

6 Payout timing & holds
  • Private sellers: Paid within 24 hours of delivery confirmation.
  • Business sellers: Paid within 72 hours of order completion.
  • Open disputes pause the payout on that specific order only. Other payouts continue normally.
  • Chargebacks may extend the hold until resolution. If you win the dispute, the payout is released.

7 Limits & disclaimers
  • Seller Protection is discretionary — not insurance or a guarantee of payment.
  • Liability is limited to the order amount (excluding delivery unless stated otherwise).
  • Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a UK business.
