The full legal policy explaining how Rydiqo® protects buyers on rydiqo.com. Forms part of our Terms of Service and applies in addition to our Shipping and Refund Policies.

  • Pay on Rydiqo®. Only purchases paid through Rydiqo® Checkout are eligible.
  • Report within 48 hours. Include a timestamped unboxing video + photos.
  • Covered: Not as described, wrong/missing item, undelivered orders. Rydiqo® Delivery includes in-transit cover up to £10,000.
  • Not covered: Change of mind, size/fit preferences, disclosed wear, late reports, items used/modified after delivery.
  • Fast resolutions. Most cases resolved in 3–7 working days once evidence is received.

1 What Buyer Protection covers
  • Not as described: The delivered item has a material difference from the listing.
  • Wrong or missing item: The item received is not the one purchased, or key components are missing.
  • Undelivered orders: The order never arrives and the seller cannot provide valid tracking or proof of delivery.
  • Rydiqo® Delivery: In-transit cover up to £10,000 per shipment on Rydiqo®-managed deliveries.
2 Eligibility requirements
  • Payment on platform: Must pay via Rydiqo® Checkout. Direct payments void Buyer Protection.
  • Report window: Report issues within 48 hours of delivery or collection.
  • Evidence: Provide timestamped unboxing video, photos, and any requested proof.
  • Shipping method: Coverage varies by method (see Section 5).
3 What's not covered
  • Buyer remorse, incorrect size/fit/colour preferences.
  • Disclosed wear or defects, or normal used condition.
  • Reports made after the 48-hour window.
  • Items used, assembled, ridden, modified, or reset after delivery/collection.
  • Loss or damage where no signature was required by the buyer's own request.
  • Off-platform transactions.
  • Normal wear and tear.
4 How to report a problem
  1. Go to your order in your Rydiqo® account within 48 hours and click "Report an issue".
  2. Upload a timestamped unboxing video and photos showing the issue.
  3. We review the evidence and may request more information.

We aim to respond within 1–2 working days and resolve most cases within 3–7 working days once complete evidence is received.

5 Delivery methods & coverage

A) Rydiqo® Delivery (Mainland UK)

  • 2–3 working days from collection, delivered in same condition.
  • In-transit cover up to £10,000; must report within 48 hours with evidence.
  • Approved claims: refund, replacement, or return label issued.

B) Free Delivery — "Sold by Rydiqo®"

  • Standard 3–7 working days unless otherwise stated. Buyer Protection fully applies.

C) Seller-provided delivery

  • Sellers must provide tracking or proof of delivery. Coverage applies to "not as described" and undelivered orders.

D) Local collection

  • Pay on Rydiqo® first — never pay the seller directly.
  • Inspect on collection and contact us before leaving if any issue exists.
Best protection tip: Choose Rydiqo® Delivery or Sold by Rydiqo® for the strongest coverage.
6 Resolutions & refunds
  • Full or partial refund after item return, or upon carrier claim approval.
  • Replacement or repair for Sold by Rydiqo® items if available.
  • Delivery fees refunded only if the item is materially not as described, or confirmed lost/damaged in transit.

7 Fraud, chargebacks & abuse
  • Contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank.
  • False claims or misuse of Buyer Protection may result in account suspension and recovery of losses.
  • Suspicious activity, payment fraud, or coordinated abuse will be referred to relevant authorities.
8 Limits & disclaimers
  • Buyer Protection is discretionary — it is not insurance, not a warranty, and not a consumer guarantee.
  • Liability is limited to the order amount (plus delivery where applicable).
  • Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
9 How this protects sellers too

We require evidence from buyers within 48 hours and verify every claim — protecting sellers from false claims, buyer remorse, and chargeback fraud. See our Seller Protection Policy for the full seller-side framework.
