How do I know the seller is legitimate?

What does "Sold by Rydiqo®" mean?
These are items sold directly from Rydiqo®'s own stock — brand new, boxed, fast-dispatched, with support and the option to add Extended Warranty. It's the most seamless way to buy on the platform.
What's the difference between "Sold by Rydiqo®" and "Marketplace Seller"?
Sold by Rydiqo®: brand-new items from our own stock with direct support and fast dispatch. Marketplace Seller: items from private or business sellers on the platform. Both options are fully covered by Buyer Protection.
Why are prices sometimes lower than other sites?
Many listings come from private owners or businesses clearing stock, so you'll often find better deals than retail — including rare models, bundles, and high-condition second-hand rides.
Can I make an offer on a listing?
Yes — where sellers allow it, you can submit an offer from the listing page. You'll be notified of acceptance, counter-offers, or declines. You can also pay the asking price instantly.
Delivery, collection & returns
How does delivery work?
Three options depending on the listing: Rydiqo® Delivery (we collect from the seller and deliver to you, insured in transit), Seller Delivery (the seller uses their own courier with tracking), or Collection (pick up in person after payment). How much does Rydiqo® Delivery cost?
Delivery is fixed per category, from just £8.99 — fully tracked and insured up to £10,000 per shipment. The exact price for your item is shown clearly on every listing before checkout. See full pricing on Shipping Options.
How long does delivery take?
Rydiqo® Delivery typically arrives in 2–3 working days after collection. Seller Delivery times vary by courier — the estimate is shown on the listing and in your order confirmation.
Can I track my order?
Yes — tracking details are sent to you by email as soon as the item is dispatched. You can also check status from your order page anytime.
Can I collect the item in person?
Yes, on listings where the seller offers collection. You must pay through Rydiqo® first — never pay the seller directly in cash, as this removes your Buyer Protection. The full address is revealed after checkout, and the seller only gets paid once you've collected successfully.
What if the item arrives damaged?
Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery with photos or video. Items shipped via Rydiqo® Delivery are insured up to £10,000 per shipment. We'll review the evidence and resolve the claim.
Can I return an item?
If the item arrives "not as described" and you report it within 48 hours with proof, you're covered by Buyer Protection and can return it at no cost. Business sellers also honour UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Full detail in our Refund & Return Policy.
Do I have to pay to return an item?
No — if the return is due to the item being not as described, Rydiqo® arranges collection free of charge.

How much does it cost to sell?
Listing is always free. You only pay a success fee when your item sells, based on sale price:
- £0–499: 12%
- £500–1,499: 10%
- £1,500–2,999: 9%
- £3,000+: 8%

How do I list an item?
Sign up as a seller on Rydiqo®, then add your item via your dashboard: upload photos, enter details (brand, condition, specs), and set your price. Most listings go live within minutes.
What items can I sell?
Any UK-legal electric ride or related item: e-bikes, e-scooters (private land or legally road-registered), dirt bikes, tricycles, mopeds, batteries, motors, chargers, kits, parts, and accessories. New, used, or for-repair — all conditions allowed if clearly described. Prohibited items are listed in our Prohibited Items Policy.
When will I get paid?
Private sellers: within 24 hours of delivery confirmation. Verified business sellers: within 72 hours of order completion. Full detail in Payouts.
What price should I list my item for?
You set your own price. Competitive prices sell fastest. If you'd like a valuation, message support with the brand, model, year, and condition — we'll suggest a fair range.
How long will my listing stay online?
Listings stay live until the item sells or you remove them. You can edit, renew, boost, or remove your listing from your dashboard anytime.
How many items can I list?
No limit. List as many as you like. For bulk or business use, check out Business Sellers for tailored support.
How am I notified of offers?
You'll get an email and in-dashboard notification. Accept, decline, or counter-offer within the seller tools. Once accepted, the buyer completes payment and the sale moves forward.
How do I ship an item I've sold?
If the buyer picks Rydiqo® Delivery, we arrange collection from you — most items travel as collected (boxed stays boxed, assembled stays assembled). If you ship with your own courier, use a tracked service and upload the tracking number. See Shipping Options.
Can I promote or boost my listing?
Yes. Boosted Listings put your item at the top of search for 3, 7, or 10 days (£15 / £35 / £45). Pay once, go live immediately, renew anytime.
Protection, payments & safety
What is Rydiqo® Buyer Protection?
Every purchase is covered. If the item arrives not as described and you report it within 48 hours with proof, we step in to resolve it. Payments stay held securely until delivery is confirmed. See the full Buyer Protection Policy.
Does Buyer Protection cost anything?
No. Buyer Protection is completely free and applies to every purchase on Rydiqo®, whether from Rydiqo® directly or a marketplace seller.
What is Seller Protection?
Sellers are protected from fraud, chargeback abuse, and unfair disputes. Buyers are verified, claims need evidence (including unboxing video for "not as described"), and decisions are made fairly. Full detail in Seller Protection Policy.
How do disputes work?
Report the issue from your order page within 48 hours. Rydiqo® reviews evidence from both sides — photos, tracking, messages — and makes a binding decision. See the Dispute Resolution Policy.
What is Extended Warranty?
An optional add-on for items sold directly by Rydiqo®. Choose 6, 12, or 36 months of priority support, discounted parts, and repair partner access. Add at checkout or within 14 days of delivery. See Extended Warranty.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Klarna where available. Full payment details appear at checkout.
When is my payment released to the seller?
Payments are held securely by Rydiqo® and only released to the seller after delivery is confirmed (or the 48-hour review window passes without an issue report). This protects both sides.
Is my personal data safe?
