Refund & Return Policy
How refunds and returns work across the Rydiqo® marketplace. Designed to protect buyers from misleading listings and defend sellers from false claims — fully compliant with UK law.
- Returns only if "not as described". Material difference from the listing — wrong model, undisclosed faults, missing parts.
- 48-hour window. Report with timestamped unboxing video + photos. Late reports are closed permanently.
- Business sellers + Sold by Rydiqo®: UK Consumer Contracts Regulations apply — 14-day right to cancel if unused and sealed.
- Private sellers: not legally required to accept returns for used items, unless "not as described".
- Cancellations after dispatch: 30% fee + buyer covers return shipping.

1 Who this policy applies to
Rydiqo® is operated by RYDIQO LTD (Company No. 16588051). This policy applies to all purchases on rydiqo.com, and varies depending on who the seller is:
- Sold by Rydiqo®: Rydiqo® is the seller and fulfils the order directly.
- Business Seller: a registered business selling through the marketplace.
- Private Seller: an individual selling occasionally or non-commercially.
2 When returns are accepted
Returns are only accepted if the item is "not as described". This means there is a material difference between the listing and what was delivered — for example wrong model, undisclosed faults, or missing parts.
Rydiqo® makes the final decision after reviewing evidence submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
3 What proof is required
Buyers must submit:
- Timestamped unboxing video
- Clear images showing the issue
- Any other relevant proof (e.g., screenshot of the listing, packaging, serial numbers)
Failure to provide valid proof within 48 hours of delivery voids your eligibility for a return.
4 When returns are not accepted
Returns are not accepted for:
- Change of mind or buyer remorse
- Incorrect size, fit, or colour preference
- Cosmetic damage already disclosed in the listing
- Buyer error (wrong item ordered)
- Items marked as used, damaged, or for parts
- Late complaints (outside the 48-hour window)
5 Returns automatically voided if…
- The item is used, assembled, or ridden
- Original packaging is opened or missing
- Item is dirty, scratched, or shows signs of wear
- Internal software or settings were altered
- Any parts, tools, manuals, or chargers are missing
- Buyer attempted repairs or modifications
- Return is outside the allowed timeframe
6 Private sellers
Returns are only allowed if the item is not as described. Rydiqo® enforces this by reviewing buyer evidence.
Private sellers are not legally required to accept returns for used or functional items.
7 Business sellers
Business sellers are subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK law). Buyers are entitled to:
- Cancel within 14 days of receiving the item (if unused and sealed)
- A full refund, minus return costs and value deduction (if applicable)
- Return postage covered by the buyer unless the item is "not as described"
Rydiqo® may step in if a business seller fails to comply with UK law.
8 Sold & shipped by Rydiqo®
You may return items sold by Rydiqo® if:
- The item is not as described
- It is unused, sealed, and returned within 14 days
Buyers must:
- Return the item in original packaging
- Include all accessories
- Pay return shipping unless the product was materially misrepresented
9 Cancellations & return fees
If a buyer cancels after dispatch or refuses delivery:
- 30% cancellation fee applies
- Buyer must cover return delivery costs
- Refund is only issued after the returned item is inspected and approved
If cancelled before dispatch, a lower admin fee may apply (at Rydiqo®'s discretion).
10 Refund processing
Refunds are issued after:
- The return is received and inspected
- Evidence is verified (if the item is claimed as faulty or misrepresented)
- Klarna purchases: refunded via Klarna
- Card payments: refunded via Stripe or Shopify
- Refunds take 3–10 business days depending on payment provider
11 Return shipping
- Buyers must arrange and pay for their own return shipping
- Items sold by Rydiqo® go back to Rydiqo®
- Items sold by sellers go back to the seller
- Tracking is required — proof of return must be provided
International returns are only accepted if the item is not as described, and only if the complaint and evidence are submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
12 Chargebacks & fraud
Buyers must not file chargebacks without contacting Rydiqo® support first.
If you initiate a chargeback:
- Rydiqo® will provide full evidence to the payment provider
- If the chargeback is false or rejected, the buyer must repay Rydiqo® immediately
- Debt collection fees and legal costs may be added to the amount owed
- The buyer's account may be suspended or permanently banned
- Legal action may be pursued, including civil and criminal proceedings for fraud where applicable.
13 Rydiqo®'s rights
We reserve the right to:
- Amend this policy without prior notice
- Override seller decisions in clear cases of fraud or abuse
- Suspend payouts, hold funds, or ban accounts that violate policy
- Enforce return fees or penalties
