Why delivery beats riding it there
- Paperwork first. It can't legally be ridden until it's registered, insured and the rider is licensed. Delivery doesn't need any of that.
- Distance. A long journey at moped speeds, on a battery that needs charging along the way, can take a full day or more.
- Weight. Most e-mopeds weigh 60kg or more, so a car boot or a parcel service is out of the question.

Getting your electric moped ready.
- Charge the battery partly, around 30–50% is ideal, and switch it off.
- Empty the top box and under-seat storage, and remove any loose accessories.
- Fold the mirrors in if you can, and bag the keys and charger together.
- Arrange the logbook (V5C) between buyer and seller directly. Don't leave documents with the moped.
- Take dated photos of every side before collection.

Does the moped need to be registered or insured to be delivered?
No. It's carried in a van, not ridden, so it doesn't need to be taxed or insured for the delivery itself.
Can you deliver an e-moped I bought from someone far away?
Yes. The seller hands it to our courier at their door and it's delivered to yours, so neither of you has to make the trip.
What about the logbook and keys?
Keys and the charger can travel with the moped, bagged together. Sort the logbook (V5C) out directly between buyer and seller.
How long does delivery take?
