Lithium battery delivery · Mainland UK E-Bike Battery Delivery UK.
Sent safely for £49.
Sold a spare e-bike battery, or need one moved? Lithium-ion batteries are classed as dangerous goods for transport, so many parcel services won't take them. Rydiqo® Delivery will, for one fixed price with in-transit cover up to £10,000.
Secure checkout. Instant booking confirmation by email.
Batteries are the exception to "no box needed". Unlike a bike, a loose battery should be packed securely: in its original case or a sturdy box with padding, terminals covered. No label to print, though.
How e-bike battery delivery works.

- 2We confirm your slotYou get an instant booking confirmation by email. Our partner courier then confirms the exact slot with both of you.
- 3Collected & deliveredCollected from the door and delivered to the door, tracked the whole way, in 1–2 days on average.
Why e-bike batteries are hard to post
- Dangerous goods. Lithium-ion batteries are regulated for transport, and large e-bike batteries (often 300–750Wh) go well beyond what most standard parcel services accept.
- Refused parcels. Send one with the wrong carrier and it can be stopped, returned or destroyed, and you may not be covered.
- Value. A replacement battery can cost hundreds of pounds. Every Rydiqo® Delivery includes in-transit cover up to £10,000.
- Done properly. Booked with a courier that handles e-ride batteries, tracked the whole way.
Getting your e-bike battery ready.
- Charge it partly, around 30–50% is ideal, not full and not flat.
- Cover the terminals with insulating tape so they can't touch anything metal.
- Pack it in its original case or a sturdy box with padding so it can't move around.
- You can pack the charger and key in the same box.
- Don't book a battery that's swollen, cracked, leaking, or has been dropped hard, in water or in a fire. Contact us first.
E-Bike Battery delivery FAQs.
How much does e-bike battery delivery cost?
E-bike battery delivery is a fixed £49 anywhere in Mainland UK, including tracking and in-transit cover up to £10,000.
Can I post an e-bike battery with Royal Mail?
Generally not on its own. Standard parcel services heavily restrict lithium batteries, and e-bike batteries are far larger than they usually accept. Always check the carrier's current rules before you send one.
Does the battery need packaging?
Yes. Unlike a bike, a loose battery should be packed in its original case or a sturdy padded box with the terminals taped over. You don't need to print a label.
Can you deliver a damaged or swollen battery?
No. Damaged lithium batteries can't be carried as normal freight. If your battery is swollen, cracked, leaking or has been in water or a fire, contact us before booking.
How long does delivery take?
On average 1–2 days from collection. Our partner courier confirms the exact slot with both of you.
